Vinyl in a Circular Healthcare Economy – New Study and New Industry Platform
A groundbreaking new study by Spanish technical institute AIMPLAS confirms that flexible vinyl – also known as PVC – used in medical devices can be mechanically recycled up to six times without significant loss of quality. This is a major step forward in creating a circular healthcare economy by reducing waste, improving resource efficiency, and maintaining patient safety.
